Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Legal Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for law firms and legal organizations across the United States.
The ideal candidate can effectively evaluate legal talent and has experience recruiting for positions ranging from entry-level legal support staff to experienced attorneys and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and screening
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for attorney, paralegal, legal assistant, and other legal support positions
- Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, legal job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach
- Present qualified candidates to clients with detailed candidate summaries and recommendations
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of legal talent for current and future hiring needs
- Develop relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals across various practice areas
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (Bullhorn)
- Client & Candidate Management
- Partner closely with law firm clients to understand hiring needs, firm culture, compensation structures, and position requirements
- Maintain a high-touch candidate experience through proactive communication and follow-up
- Ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process

- Manage multiple legal searches simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong follow-through and persistence in candidate sourcing and outreach efforts
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and client information
- Take ownership of open requisitions and proactively drive searches to successful completion
Qualifications
- 2+ years of legal recruiting experience with a demonstrated history of successfully placing attorneys, paralegals, and legal support professionals in the United States
- Strong understanding of law firm structures, legal practice areas, and legal career paths
- Experience recruiting for a variety of legal positions, including associates, partners, paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and administrative legal staff
- Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment from sourcing through offer acceptance
- Strong sourcing skills utilizing Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, legal job boards, referrals, and direct outreach strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with legal professionals and hiring partners
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities simultaneously
- Proficient with various job boards, Bullhorn, and Google Workspace
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment
Available to work full-time, Monday–Friday, during U.S. business hours
Compensation:
Starting at $1,000+ per month, commensurate with experience, plus placement-based incentive opportunities and performance bonuses.
