Scope of the Job:
We are looking for a corporate controller that ideally will be located locally in the Inland Empire, SoCal in order to be fully familiar with state regulations and with dealing with the system here. Additionally, we need to find someone who has been operating in a hospice in a controlling or senior accounting function.
- Role: Corporate Controller
- Salary – $120k-$150k
Although we would prefer to get someone experienced, we hope that for this position, we can find someone who is motivated to assume a leadership role in the future, and evolve into a VP and then CFO.
Key aspects beyond the obvious are:
· California-based, preferably within driving distance for hybrid work hours to Riverside, Irvine, San Bernardino, Santa Clarita, Valencia, and Los Angeles.
· CPA preference
· Worked in a hospice company before
· Financial governance
· FP&A
· Reimbursement via contracts, CMS, Medicare
· AR/AP and vendor engagement
· Reviewing, setting up and optimizing SOPs
