Position Overview
The Vice President of Clinical Services, RN or LVN, will oversee a large portfolio of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Communities across the West Coast, including California (Southern and Northern), Nevada, Utah, and Oregon.
This executive leader will be responsible for all clinical multi-site operations for a mid-sized, resident-focused senior living organization known for its stability, growth, and supportive leadership team. The VP of Clinical Services will develop and implement company-wide policies, procedures, and protocols, while ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance across all communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive oversight of all clinical operations across multiple states and communities.
- Develop and implement company-wide clinical policies, protocols, procedures, and budgets.
- Mentor, support, and oversee Regional Nurses (role is Regional Nurse vs. Nurse Consultant).
- Perform oversight of resident health assessments at time of admission.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are met and maintained at all times.
- Partner closely with Operations, Risk Management, Legal, and Resident Services leadership to align clinical and organizational goals.
- Serve as the RN executive voice for Assisted Living, CCRC, Long-Term Care, and Skilled Nursing care strategies.
- Lead multi-site program rollouts, compliance initiatives, and staff training.
Education & Licensure:
- Active RN or LVN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master’s degree in Nursing a plus.
Experience Requirements:
- 4–5 years in a VP, Corporate, or Senior Regional Clinical Services role in current or most recent company strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3–4 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 3 years as a Regional Nurse.
- Proven multi-site oversight experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Nursing.
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulations and survey processes.
- Experience with Yardi EHR system preferred.
- Expertise in Dementia and elder care programs.
- Demonstrated success in:

Travel & Schedule:
- 2 days per week in the corporate office.
- 3 days per week traveling (approximately 65% travel).
- Travel includes oversight of communities in Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and California (5 in Southern California and 5 in Northern California).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Executive base salary: $150,000 – $185,000 annually, depending on RN or LVN licensure and experience.
