Job Title: Tax Firm Administrative Assistant
Schedule: M-F, PST hours
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support our U.S.-based tax firm. The ideal candidate will have experience using CCH software to scan tax documents and assist with populating tax returns. This role requires someone with a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Use CCH software to scan and organize tax documents

Populate tax return templates and ensure all data is entered accurately

Answer incoming calls professionally and confidently

Reach out to leads

Follow up with existing clients

Coordinate meetings and manage calendars for the team

Maintain accurate records and uphold the confidentiality of sensitive client information

Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the firm
Qualifications:

Proven experience using CCH software in a tax or accounting setting

Strong background in accounting or bookkeeping

Exceptional reliability and unquestionable integrity

Comfortable performing routine and repetitive tasks with consistency

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with client communication and scheduling tools is a plus
