The mission of the Valley Non-Profit Affinity Group is to bring together nonprofit executives, Board Members, stakeholders and service providers to learn from each other, educate their clients, help their affinity nonprofits better pursue their mission, and ultimately refer business to each other.
“How to Ask for a Gift: A Primer for Board Members” presented by guest speaker Katherine Wertheim, CFRE.
One of the most important functions for non-profit Board members is to raise money for the organizations on which they serve. But many Board members are fearful of, or just don’t know how, to ask for a gift. In this practical presentation, fundraising consultant Katherine Wertheim will lay out the best fundraising tips and techniques – designed for volunteer Board members of non-profits. Plan to attend, whether you serve on a non-profit Board or have clients who do!
